Being your own accountant, minus the accounting

When you work for yourself, every missed receipt is a missed deduction. CompanyReceipts makes sure you keep them all.

Deductions, added up for you

Every scanned receipt rolls into a running deductible total by category, so you always know your write-offs — not just in April.

Categories that match your return

On-device AI sorts each receipt into a sensible category (meals, supplies, software, travel, vehicle), so your expenses line up with your Schedule C.

Snap it and forget it

No manual entry. Point your camera at a receipt and the vendor, date, total, and tax are read automatically — then filed and searchable forever.

Mileage that counts

Log business miles and include a mileage report with your receipts — one of the biggest deductions gig workers and freelancers leave on the table.

Find any receipt in seconds

That client dinner from last March? Search by vendor, date, or category and it's right there — proof ready if you're ever audited.

Export for filing or your CPA

One tap gives you a PDF deduction report, a QuickBooks/Xero CSV, or an email straight to your accountant.

The CompanyReceipts difference

A side hustle or two? Keep them apart from day one.

Lots of self-employed people juggle more than one gig — freelance plus an Etsy shop, consulting plus a rental. CompanyReceipts lets you keep each one's receipts and deductions separate, so a hobby's expenses never muddy your main business (and vice versa).

  • Tag receipts to each hustle or keep them all personal
  • Separate deductible totals per venture
  • Add a business later without starting over
  • Personal spending stays out of your business deductions

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is CompanyReceipts good for self-employed and freelancers?

Yes. It's built for freelancers, 1099 contractors, gig workers, and side-hustlers who need to track deductible expenses without an accounting degree. Snap receipts, get them auto-sorted into tax categories, and see your running deduction total year-round.

Will it help me file my Schedule C?

CompanyReceipts totals your deductible spending by category and exports a clean PDF deduction report plus a QuickBooks/Xero CSV — the numbers you (or your CPA) need for a Schedule C. It doesn't file your taxes for you, but it removes the sorting and adding-up.

Can it track my mileage for taxes?

Yes. Pro and Cloud include a mileage log and a mileage report you can include with your receipts at tax time — a major deduction for self-employed drivers and gig workers.

What if I get audited?

Every receipt image is stored and searchable by vendor, date, and category, so you can produce proof of any expense in seconds. On Pro and Cloud you can also auto-back-up copies to your own Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box.

How much does it cost?

Free forever for 30 scans a month. Pro is $3.99/month (or $39.99/year) for unlimited scans, mileage, exports, and multiple businesses. Cloud adds the web dashboard and sync for $7.99/month.
